Our Supporters
When established, a goal of the Lowell Area Recreation Authority was to develop a viable trail system without the need to raise specific millages from the member communities. To date, that goal has been met. The funds required to plan, design and build the LARA trails have come from a generous combination of state and local grants, community foundations, and private donations as well as contributions from the member communities.
